Documented application

2025 GM 25OBDG03A diagnostic monitor only; exact vehicle, engine and calibration applicability is not established.

The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.

P2150 is the injector 2 high-side short-to-ground monitor in this GM diagnostic table. Its generic catalog label is injector group B supply voltage low. The table's specific injector numbering is useful, but it is not proof that group B always means injector 2 on other vehicles.

What low tells you

The driver is commanded on when its voltage is checked. An out-of-range result in that state is classified as a short to ground. The diagnosis is about the electrical output stage and connected circuit; it does not measure whether injector 2 delivered a correct fuel quantity.

The source includes a 25-amp controller design criterion. That figure should not be turned into an improvised workshop loading test. Injector-driver testing requires the applicable circuit instructions and appropriate equipment.

Conditions and verification

Monitoring requires battery voltage at or above 11 V, with the specified P062B failure states absent. The controller accumulates 10 failures out of 20 samples, sampled every 100 milliseconds. A low reading taken with insufficient supply voltage or while the injector is inactive has a different context from this fault decision.

When P2150 appears with other injector codes, compare the identified high-side channels and their recorded conditions before deciding whether the evidence is local or shared. That is diagnostic reasoning, not an OEM parts recommendation. Verification must establish that injector 2's powered output behaves correctly and that the enabled monitor completes without returning the fault. The source does not prescribe injector replacement.

Source and applicability

The thresholds and component mapping apply only to the documented monitor, pending vehicle and calibration confirmation. GM diagnostic table, PDF page 605.
