The bulletin reports a malfunction indicator and the code in transmission-control memory; it does not establish that every P2757 has this mechanical cause.
Check the exact transmission and eligibility
A useful repair order records the full transmission scan, engine and transmission sales codes, production date and VIN eligibility. The Aisin AS69RC restriction is essential: a different Ram transmission is outside this case. The revised bulletin instructs technicians to address other faults separately and, for vehicles actually on the RRT VIN list, replace the converter without additional diagnosis under that action. A model-year match alone does not grant the same shortcut to an unlisted vehicle.
Repair expectations and limits
The specified repair requires transmission work and the prescribed ASRC fluid, following the manufacturer removal and installation procedure.
