P2B62: Pump supply-voltage status is separate from a low output circuit
Understand the supported P2B62 supply classification and the unresolved A/B wording in Ford’s auxiliary-pump table.

Documented application
Ford 2024–2025 gasoline OBD summary, July 16, 2024 revision; only the described monitor and architecture. Model, engine and calibration fitment are not inferred.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P2B62 is the supply-voltage classification listed under Ford’s auxiliary coolant pump B monitor, with detailed representation P261A_1C. That condition should be kept separate from P261C’s low output-circuit classification: supply status and a control-output fault are different evidence paths.
The entry window is not the fault threshold
The pump section requires battery voltage of at least 11 V, executes continuously and lists five seconds of monitoring. Those facts describe when the check operates. The source does not publish the numerical supply-voltage limits that cause P2B62, so the 11 V entry value must not be presented as the fault threshold.
A valid vehicle-battery reading also does not automatically establish the condition of every supply quantity evaluated by a pump module. The applicable circuit information is required to identify the actual measured path.
Keep the source’s identity limitation explicit
Although the heading, detailed-code family and functional definition identify pump B, this particular row prints pump A in its description. The mapping is unresolved here; the article does not silently assign a physical pump from that inconsistent label.
Retain the complete vehicle diagnostic identifier, reported supply status, battery state and correct pump function before choosing a test. The source supports a supply-classification distinction, but not a universal pinout, voltage limit or replacement instruction for an assumed pump.
