Documented application
2025 GM 25OBDG03A ECM monitor at the cited physical PDF pages only. Vehicle, engine and calibration applicability is not established by the file-level application matrix.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P0567 is the cruise-control resume-signal code. The cited GM strategy detects a resume input continuously decoded as applied for too long. The body controller reports the analog input's resume range to the engine controller; the fault does not directly test whether the vehicle actually accelerates toward a stored speed.
Duration distinguishes a command from a stuck state
The documented limit is more than 89 seconds applied within a 99-second sample period. A short intentional resume press and a persistent decoded resume state therefore have different diagnostic meaning. Record the state after the physical control is released and through the relevant observation window.
The monitor also requires the CAN cruise-switch diagnostic to be enabled. Missing information from an ineligible test should not be treated as a clean resume-switch result.
Disabled cruise can outlast the input problem
After failure, cruise is disabled and disengaged for the remainder of the key cycle, even if the switch value recovers. This explains why current normal switch data alone may not immediately restore cruise operation.
Follow the vehicle's switch-input and module-communication procedure to identify why resume remains asserted. The table cannot distinguish the switch, circuit or module interpretation solely from P0567. Verification needs correct release behavior and a completed passing monitor after correction. The row is Type C, one-trip, emissions neutral and does not request the emissions malfunction lamp.
Source and applicability
This explanation is limited to the 2025 GM 25OBDG03A monitor on page 335. Its thresholds are calibration examples, not universal specifications. Confirm the vehicle, engine and controller procedure before applying them.
