P0B11: fine current-sensor feedback is above its upper range
The GM P0B11 monitor checks sensor B fine-current feedback above 23 amperes with a timed failure window.

Documented application
Document-level 2015 GM diagnostic table; per-code vehicle/engine/calibration applicability not established.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P0B11 is the high branch for the fine battery-current sensing channel in the cited GM BECM table. The documented criterion is fine-current feedback above 23 amperes, subject to the controller's diagnostic and power-state prerequisites.
The number is a channel limit, not a pack rating
This row does not say that the traction battery must never supply more than 23 amperes. It identifies the monitored range of the fine-current channel. Treating that threshold as a universal battery output limit would confuse measurement-channel diagnostics with power capability.
The neighboring P0B10 row covers the negative lower boundary. Preserve the sign and the exact code when comparing event records. The cited page does not independently establish which sign represents charging on the vehicle.
A passing result also takes time
GM counts the high condition over a specified fraction of a short sample window. It separately defines recovery when fine current returns to or below the upper boundary for the stated pass interval. One normal update after clearing data is therefore incomplete verification.
The controller must also have valid diagnostic enable, communication/power mode and system voltage. Record those conditions alongside fine-current data and any correlation fault.
The summary does not determine whether a sensor, connection or internal electronics failed. Follow the exact battery-controller service procedure with qualified high-voltage handling. The useful next distinction is between reliable measurement and an out-of-range sensing report, not an immediate assumption that the battery pack needs replacement.
