Documented application
Documented monitors in gm-2025-03a, model year 2025. These are module/calibration examples; vehicle, engine and transmission applicability must be confirmed independently.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P0E33 is DC/DC converter voltage-sensor A low. The cited ECM checks converter actuator raw voltage 1 below 1 volt, describing this as the circuit-1 short-to-ground diagnostic.
It is the monitored channel, not every vehicle voltage
The threshold applies to raw converter actuator voltage 1. It is not a statement that the battery itself is below 1 volt. In fact, the monitor requires battery voltage at least 6.60 volts to enable, which makes those two measurements explicitly different.
The controller uses 320 failed samples out of 400 with a 12.5-millisecond loop. A short transient below the boundary does not by itself establish the entire failed sample decision, while a normal later reading may miss a previously sustained low period.
Check the architecture's power prerequisite
The cited 03A configuration selects the sensor-bus-relay path: the relay must be on and its fault flag false. The table also documents an alternative Global-B run/crank-or-accessory path, but it is not selected in this example. Do not combine both into a universal enable checklist.
Preserve raw voltage 1, battery voltage and relay/architecture context before assigning the cause. Verification should show a passing enabled low-input monitor after the vehicle-specific circuit diagnosis. The source does not identify an internal converter component or establish hybrid/high-voltage compatibility. Do not open or probe a converter based on this monitor summary; use the applicable professional electrical procedure.
