P2014: the CAED runner-position circuit has a high-signal criterion
Audi's CAED P2014 row uses position-sensor signal above 4.75 V, which should not be replaced with criteria from another engine section.

P2014 describes the bank 1 intake-manifold runner position-sensor or switch circuit. In Audi's CAED section, the listed criterion is signal voltage above 4.75 V. This article uses that exact engine-specific row rather than assuming that the generic circuit label always means a low signal or mechanical runner jam.
A voltage boundary is not a runner-angle measurement
The source does not give a physical angle corresponding to the threshold. As diagnostic interpretation, the high signal needs to be assessed as feedback before concluding that the runner has reached a particular position. An unreliable signal cannot independently prove the mechanical state it is supposed to represent.
The book contains multiple engine sections, making calibration identity important when comparing test information. A shared code number does not authorize importing another engine's circuit interpretation.
Confirm the feedback path
Use CAED repair information to identify the bank 1 sensor, its connections and the applicable measurement conditions. Audi's quick-reference row supplies no universal connector pinout, resistance test or intake-manifold replacement requirement. A useful diagnostic finding explains why the feedback crossed the specified boundary and separates that evidence from any confirmed mechanical restriction. This is a scoped monitor explanation for the 2014 A6/S6 reference.
