P2ABC: Bank 2 wastegate feedback reported above its accepted range
P2ABC flags a high-range feedback state for the second wastegate channel, not a direct measurement of excessive boost.

Documented application
2025 GM 07A-2 documented monitor only; module and calibration applicability must be matched to the vehicle. The application-matrix filename join remains unresolved; no model or engine fitment is inferred.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P2ABC is the high-range position-sensor entry for wastegate bank 2 in the source. It is useful to separate this electrical feedback judgement from the driver's command and from the engine's resulting boost pressure. Those are related parts of control, but they are not the same measurement.
The table needs careful interpretation
Two comparisons appear together: raw position voltage above 3,834 mV and below 3,973 mV. The monitor lists 1,500 milliseconds and requires ignition on, with additional inhibit conditions referenced separately. The paired bounds are preserved here because the source does not justify replacing them with a simple open-ended high-voltage limit.
A measured voltage above the upper printed value therefore cannot be classified using this summary alone. The exact sensor signalling convention and controller routine are needed. This is a real evidence limit, not a reason to invent a connector specification.
A productive diagnostic distinction
Establish whether bank 2 reports a high diagnostic state, a plausible high position, or lost feedback altogether. The nearby SENT and low-range rows show that these are separately monitored situations. Retain the diagnostic state when comparing commanded and actual position, since an invalid input can make that comparison misleading.
The cited page does not prove a stuck wastegate, worn turbocharger or particular wiring failure. A successful verification returns the affected feedback diagnostic to a valid state during its permitted operating conditions; a short drive with no boost complaint does not independently test that requirement.
