P2C4D: High clutch-actuation feedback needs its own circuit specification
Learn why Ford P2C4D must be separated from pedal correlation and adjacent throttle-position voltage tests.

Documented application
Ford 2024–2025 gasoline OBD summary, July 16, 2024 revision; only the described monitor and architecture. Model, engine and calibration fitment are not inferred.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P2C4D is Ford’s high-circuit classification for clutch-actuation position sensor A, represented by P2C4A_12. It concerns the actuator-position feedback path, not automatically the driver’s clutch-pedal sensor or a mechanical clutch-slip condition.
The source identifies the category but omits the voltage cutoff
The actuation-position check is continuous and specifies less than one second to register a sensor malfunction. A high-circuit classification is separate from P2C50’s in-range rationality assessment: a signal can pass an electrical range check yet still be implausible, or fail electrically before such a comparison is useful.
No numerical high-voltage threshold is supplied for P2C4D. The 4.75 V value in the following throttle-sensor section belongs to another monitor and cannot be adopted just because it is nearby on the page.
Keep actuator and pedal evidence distinct
Record the complete identifier, actuator state, relevant signal and any separate pedal or correlation faults. The preceding pedal section includes different hardware variants and cycle-based switch checks; those do not establish the procedure for this actuator sensor.
The summary cannot locate the high condition within a harness, sensor or control module. Verification needs the actual clutch-actuation circuit and its specified limits. The code alone does not prove a hydraulic defect, worn clutch or need to replace the actuator assembly.
