P2106: limited power is a throttle-system response, not a single-part diagnosis
Ross-Tech's P2106 reference includes the throttle, harness and ECM, with firmware notes limited to particular Audi 3.2 FSI applications.

Documented application
Ross-Tech independent VAG diagnostic guidance; match complete fault description and controller. Vehicle-specific notes do not establish universal applicability.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P2106 describes power being limited because of a throttle-system malfunction in Ross-Tech's VAG entry. It names throttle module J338 and lists throttle-body, wiring-harness and engine-controller possibilities. The limited-power state is therefore an outcome of the fault, not proof that J338 alone has failed.
Follow the system test rather than the symptom
Ross-Tech explicitly directs use of the factory throttle-body test plan. That is significant because the source does not provide enough detail to distinguish a harness problem from a module problem by the code alone. Reduced performance and an illuminated malfunction lamp are possible effects, but neither identifies the failed electrical path.
Software advice has a defined application
The page notes possible firmware updates for Audi 3.2-litre FSI engines and cites two bulletins. Those notes do not establish that every P2106 needs an update or that the same calibration applies to another engine. Verify applicability against the vehicle's identification and current software.
As diagnostic interpretation, the useful result explains the original throttle-system malfunction and why power was restricted. This independent reference provides no universal throttle voltage, relearn sequence or required replacement. A complete code record and the applicable factory test are needed to support the repair.
