P2194: Bank 2 runs rich in the upper part-load adaptation range
BMW P2194 concerns rich mixture adaptation at higher load and calls attention to fuel pressure and crankcase ventilation.

Documented application
2008 BMW 750Li (E66), N62TU 4.8L; BMW DME monitor chart reproduced by Operation CHARM.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
The N62TU chart maps P2194 to BMW 29E6 and a rich result in Bank 2's upper part-load mixture adaptation. Its release conditions require relative load above 55%, airflow above 250 kg/h, no active evaporative air discharge, and no other faults disabling the monitor.
A higher-load result needs matching evidence
BMW describes this as multiplicative adaptation, with a memory-entry period of roughly ten minutes. A normal idle mixture or a brief clean-running interval after clearing faults does not demonstrate that this monitored range is correct.
The chart's service considerations include high fuel pressure, crankcase ventilation, airflow-meter contamination or failure, and upstream oxygen-sensor evaluation. Those are investigative branches, not a statement that one component is always responsible. For example, the measured airflow and the feedback signal both influence how the controller judges the mixture, while fuel pressure affects delivery.
Distinguish the rich branch from the lean branch
The corresponding lean chart emphasizes low fuel pressure and air leaks. P2194 instead points toward the rich side and specifically includes crankcase ventilation. Treating all adaptation codes as a vacuum-leak problem would ignore this source's diagnostic distinction.
Professional fuel-system procedures are needed for pressure testing. This monitor chart does not specify a universal pressure target or authorize adjustments to reduce fueling.
The published voltage-enable line appears inconsistent, listing values outside the normal 11–16 V band. It is excluded from the usable specifications here. Verification should confirm the correct adaptation behavior in the documented operating region using the matching vehicle and calibration information.
