P052E: PCV malfunction can involve a leaking breather elbow
Ross-Tech's P052E reference identifies breather leakage and an engine-specific Audi elbow concern rather than a universal PCV-valve replacement.

P052E describes a crankcase-ventilation valve malfunction in Ross-Tech's reference. The page lists breather-system leakage and a failed breather elbow as possible causes, with engine-area noise and a malfunction lamp among possible symptoms. The fault name therefore does not isolate a single replaceable valve.
Noise and leakage need a common explanation
Ross-Tech recommends checking the breather system and repairing failed or leaking parts. As diagnostic reasoning, a noise near the engine is a clue to compare with actual ventilation-system findings; it is not proof that every noisy component belongs to the PCV fault. A leak found at an elbow differs from evidence of failure elsewhere in the assembly.
The Audi bulletins are narrowly scoped
The source cites North American bulletins concerning the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 TFSI in specified Audi applications. One addresses the elbow concern and another addresses breather noise or the malfunction lamp. Their applicability must be checked against the actual engine and vehicle, rather than inferred from an Audi badge alone.
This independent reference provides no universal crankcase-pressure specification or assembly-removal procedure. The supported repair direction is to establish the failed ventilation part and verify the relevant bulletin, not assume that the same PCV component is used on every vehicle displaying P052E.
