P2095: When the bank 2 exhaust cam actuator driver fails its on-state check
See what P2095 establishes electrically and why a high-circuit diagnosis is not proof of incorrect cam timing.

Documented application
2025 GM 25OBDG07A Part 2 monitor tables only; model, engine and transmission applicability are not established by the unresolved application-matrix filename join.
The code alone does not identify a failed part or establish that a vehicle is safe to drive. Confirm the vehicle, reporting module and applicable service procedure.
P2095 describes a high-circuit fault in the bank 2 exhaust camshaft actuator control path for this GM monitor. The generic actuator letter is “B”; the source supplies the exhaust designation for the documented implementation.
A high response during activation is the fault pattern
The table evaluates the low-side driver while it is on. Voltage that remains high in that state is categorized as a short to power. The listed failure period is one second, subject to ignition, ECU drive-state, supply and other eligibility requirements.
The command-state detail separates this check from a low-circuit diagnosis made while an output is off. Seeing voltage in an inactive circuit is not enough to reproduce the P2095 condition. The controller's own diagnostic status and command provide the relevant context.
The code narrows the electrical problem, not the replacement
This row contains no requested-versus-actual cam-angle comparison. It therefore cannot establish on its own that the exhaust camshaft is mechanically stuck or that the engine's timing arrangement is wrong. Those would require their own evidence.
For verification, retain the bank/actuator identity, the electrical category and the conditions under which the driver was activated. The applicable wiring information is needed to investigate an unwanted supply connection and distinguish it from driver or load behavior. No universal connector location, resistance test or part replacement follows from this monitor summary. A later normal cam-angle observation also does not independently prove that an intermittent electrical event has been resolved.
